A good perfume bottle mockup lets a client see their label, cap and box on a real bottle long before anything goes to print. We went through the big free mockup libraries and picked 15 free perfume bottle mockups worth downloading, from square and round bottles to spray, roll-on and boxed packaging scenes.

Every file below is free to download and every link was checked. Most are Photoshop files with smart objects, and one can also be edited in Figma. For each mockup we list the format, the size, what you can edit and the licence, so you can tell quickly whether it fits a client job.

How to choose a perfume bottle mockup

  • Match the bottle shape: square bottles feel classic, round and cylinder bottles feel modern, slim sprays suit body mists and travel sizes, and roll-ons suit oils and samples. Pick the shape closest to the real product.
  • Format: PSD files with smart objects give the most realistic glass, light and reflections. Figma is quicker if the label is already designed there.
  • Resolution: 3000 px wide or more is fine for web and decks. For print, ads or large hero images, look for 4500 px and up.
  • Editable parts: check whether you can change the glass, liquid and cap colours, not only the label. Glass tints are hard to fake later.
  • Licence: “free” does not always mean free for client work. Some files below are for personal use only, so read the terms on the download page.

A common trap is a beautiful scene that does not match the real bottle. If the client’s bottle is round, a square mockup will mislead them, however good it looks.

A heavy square bottle in smoky tinted glass with a grey cap, lit against a black backdrop. The dark mood suits men’s fragrances, niche scents and any brand that wants to feel serious rather than sweet. You can change the colour of the cap and the glass, and your label goes in through a smart object.

3. Green glass perfume bottle with reflection

An emerald square bottle in hard sunlight, throwing a green shadow across a white surface. Change the bottle colour and the shadow follows it automatically, which saves a lot of masking. It works well for fresh, bold or unisex scents and for social posts where a strong colour has to stop the scroll.

4. Clear perfume bottle with black cap

A minimal clear bottle with a round black cap, tilted at an angle with a soft shadow behind it. The large flat label gives you room for type-led designs, so it suits modern, minimal fragrance brands. The file is offered free through the creator’s Gumroad page (JustForm), so check the terms there before client use.

6. Round black perfume bottle mockup

8. Tall perfume spray bottle mockup

A tall, slim rectangular spray bottle with golden liquid and a red cap, shot straight on against a cream background. The front-on view keeps a vertical label easy to read, so it is ideal for travel sizes, body mists and script-heavy labels. Your design goes in through a smart object.

9. Metallic perfume spray bottles

Two cylinder spray bottles with metallic silver and gold caps, crossing each other at an angle. Each bottle has its own smart object, so you can show two variants of a line, such as day and night, in one image. The metal finish also suits body mists and deodorant sprays.

Which perfume bottle mockup should you use?

  • For a classic or luxury fragrance: the square bottles (mockups 1 to 5) fit most traditional perfume shapes.
  • For a modern or statement scent: the round and cylinder bottles (6 and 7) give a cleaner, more design-led look.
  • For body mists, travel sizes and oils: the spray bottles (8 and 9) and the rollerball (10).
  • For a full packaging presentation: the bottle and box scenes (11 to 13) show the carton and the bottle together.
  • For social media and lookbooks: the in-hand and flower scenes (14 and 15) add mood and context.

Tips for using a perfume bottle mockup

  1. Design the label at real size. Ask for the bottle dimensions and set up the label artboard at print size, so the type does not look oversized in the mockup.
  2. Keep text inside the safe area. Curved glass distorts type near the edges of a round or cylinder bottle, so keep key words near the centre.
  3. Match the liquid colour. If the file lets you, tint the liquid to the real scent. A pink liquid behind a green label tells the wrong story.
  4. Show the box and the bottle together. Clients approve packaging faster when they see the full set, not the bottle on its own.
  5. No Photoshop? Photopea opens PSD files and smart objects in the browser for free.
  6. Send images, not files. Give the client a JPG or PDF of the mockup, not the PSD. Most licences do not let you pass the mockup file on.

Frequently asked questions

Are these perfume bottle mockups really free?

Yes, all 15 can be downloaded for free. Some are free samples of larger paid sets, and the rollerball and flower scenes are for personal use only. Always check the licence on the download page.

Can I use a free perfume mockup for client work?

Only when the licence allows commercial use. The Good Mockups files (3, 6 and 8) and Unblast mockups 5 and 7 state that they do. Do not resell or share the mockup file itself, and keep any credit the author asks for.

Is there a free perfume bottle mockup for Figma?

Free Figma perfume mockups are rare. Mockup 15 from Wannathis can be edited in Figma through its plugin. For the PSD files, you can design the label in Figma, export it at 2x and place it in the smart object.

What size should a perfume bottle mockup be?

For websites and presentations, 3000 px wide is enough. For print, posters or large ads, pick files of 4500 px or more, such as mockups 1, 3, 4, 10 and 11.
